ABOUT TEMPORARY SKYPE (24 HOURS ONLY)
Skype recently added an interesting new feature that allows anyone to use the free version of the messaging application without an account. To use it without an account, you must use Skype for The Web; however, the account holder can still join using the regular Skype client.
This is an extension of Skype’s functionality in October 2015, allowing Skype users to add non-Skype users to their conversations.
When you use Skype’s no account option, you are treated as a visitor. All conversations are based on a unique link that you can share with anyone you want to chat with. Visitor conversations up to 24 hours, up to 300 people for text chat, up to 25 people can participate in voice or video calls.
Visitor conversations have most of the features of a free account (screen and file sharing). The Skype Translator (the service’s real-time translation tool) is also a payment account feature, such as calling a fixed phone or a phone call.
HOW TO USE TEMPORARY SKYPE
First, go to Skype. You will see a button labeled “Start a conversation“. Click the start a conversation.
Type your name in the next screen, click “Start a Conversation“.
When everything is ready, there will be a Skype window for web chat. To allow others to join, you have created a unique network address for your conversations.
You can “copy the link” on the left side panel or from the main part of the large blue box on the screen. Now, share the link, just like any other – Facebook, via email, SMS, WhatsApp & etc.
